My aunt used to make this dish when I was little...easy and I keep the leftover sauce in the freezer to reuse... =0)...pork belly will of course be nicer...but trying to cut back on the fat...hee
Ingredients:
300g pork fillet or pork belly, sliced
1 tbsp garlic
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp sugar
2 cups of water
oil
- Saute garlic in oil until fragrant.
- Add pork and fry till pork is almost cooked.
- Add dark soy sauce, light soy sauce and sugar and fry until pork is cooked.
- Add water and bring it to a boil.
- Simmer until pork is tender, about an hour.
