New Shoes!!!

J finally manage to fit into his new shoes...hee heee...arent they cute...actually it's more like because i didnt have them when i was younger so i got it for him..mwhahaha...dont really think he cares or appreciate the fact tat i could be implying tat he is Oscar the Grouch..hee hee

Bad week for Jaydee baby

Jayden has been having this chesty thingy going for sometime due to teething...but on Monday, he started developing this cough...tat got me kind of worried...because cough = wheezing = asthma...low and below...on Monday night...i woke up feeling that Jayden's breathing sounded abit different...needless to say...i had a sleepless night...in the morning at around 6am, Jayden woke up asking for milk...after milk...i notice that his breathing was abit wheezy...and u know..the tummy looks different..but problem was he was laughing and playing...so i didnt know what to think.....thank goodness for the 24-hour maternal helpline....gave them a buzz and was advice to get him check out at the hospital..so brought him in...he of course was then diagnosed as having a mild asthma attack.....that was Monday....

The rest of the week went well except for his usual teething(6 at the same time) problem...then came Sunday...

Was talking to my parents on Skype in the study with Jayden and he decided to go play with the sliding doors of the wardrobe....ah ha..u would think this has something to do with fingers right? nope...his banging of the doors must have caused vibration and things to shift...this stupid touchlight(with batteries..no less)...fell on that poor fellow...right smacked in the head...screamed his head off...and then there was his lump...first time mum...got abit worried...called the 24-hour maternal helpline....and off to the hospital again we went....of cause with all that swine flu going on...the best place to get it will be the clinic..gawd...left the hospital..first thing i did...disinfect everything..gawd....i guess i will know in 7 days or so if anyone of us will get it for this bad week saga to continue...sigh...

Queens Bday Weekend

Was a long weekend so we decided to make most of it by going to Mornington Peninsula. Stayed at RACV Cape Schanck resort....was actually pleasantly surprised at the accommodation. The view of the coast from the room was gorgeous...and they were wonderful in letting us check-in early and check-out late....the food there didn't do much for us though...ang moh idea of buffet quite different from mine...carvery buffet actually means roast beef, roast pork and roast lamb...a few vegetables and some dessert...that's about it..and it was 30 bucks...sheesh....while the guys had a great time there playing at both the Cape Schanck and Eagle Ridge golf courses...us gals decided to go to the Peninsula Hot Springs for a relaxing soak in the mineral pool and a massage...I had the 60 min Kudo massage...really quite good...and the place was all zen and calming....heee..

After the massage we went to this little cafe/fish place called FED Up Fish Cafe. Thank goodness we made a booking...the place was packed...from the outside...it doesnt look like somewhere u will walk into....but it was warm and cosy inside....the price was good...service could be abit quicker(me Singaporean..what u expect)....but the food was just beautiful....we had the seafood chowder - loaded with seafood, fish and chips - had homemade chips, beer battered oysters - fresh and yum yum yum and crab pancake with seared scallops - so much crab u cant even see or taste the batter if there was any at all...the portions were pretty generous, hence no dessert...*burp*...will definately go back..hee hee

On our way back the next day, we stopped at Paringa Estate for lunch....oh..really happy with the food as well...Ck and myself had the quail cooked 3 ways...and thomas had the crispy skin barramundi in lobster bisque and gwen had the pork confit which was beautiful....this time..DESSERT!!!! heeee...creme brulee and choc mousse with cuppacino ice-cream..yum yum yum...of course price is winery price...so u know..abit steeper...but yum...and their pinot noir is pretty pretty good....
