Hong Kong Food!!!!!!!!

Hee...had to write some stuff about our Hong Kong trip..but I think the real fun part of the HK trip for me was the FOOD.....i lurve the food there....shopping...Singapore much cheaper...yup..even brand names...having said that...I did do quite abit of shopping at H&M, Uni-Glo and Thomas got some really nice stuff at Zara.... I did also go to Victoria Peak...but it was pretty foggy up there....back to the food...heee....because we were busy with tourist attractions, we didnt get to eat what we wanted until the last day...so u can imgaine the frantic rush to eat all the food we wanted to...hee...this was how the last day went....

Morning - Complimentary Buffet Breakfast (couldnt let it go to waste right...even though we had been having it for the last 3 days)

11-ish - Yum Cha @ Celestial Court @Sheraton Hotel...PWAH...very very good..the "carrot" cake with homemade XO sauce...the BIG dumpling(Goon Tong Gao) was fantastic...YUM YUM YUM....best Yum Cha I have had actually..the things were very "fine"...if u know what i mean...

1-ish - Dessert @ Sweet Dynasty....the thingy in the tub is sweet beancurd...and the other one in the claypot is yang yuan....YUM..very very good....actually recommended by the guys at the hotel where we stayed..and by a couple of friends as well...of course when we heard about how nice the porridge was...we had to get a bowl to try...hee heee...next time..will try the other food there..apparently the char siew there really good also...

3-ish - IFC(international Finance Center)...actually found this place(LGB Cafe) by accident...the macroons there soooo pretty..so had to try it...3 bucks a piece...but so worth it le...bitter choc ganache...yummmmmmmmmm.....and then @ ground floor..they have this like "gourmet" supermarket thing called Citysuper...there is a bakery just outside...sells the softest bread ever..and up front there is like this takeaway thing selling roast and sushi and sandwiches...yummmm..the grilled miso cod...yum yum

4-ish - Yung Kee....heard people ravvvvvvving about this place...but we were so full after all tat food....we tot...u know wat...we are only going for what it's famous for...the century egg and roast goose...never had century egg which tasted like tat...it was just beautiful...no strong smell ...just gorgeous...wanted to buy some back(to Sing of course since we cant bring eggs back to Aust)..but forgot...argh..the goose also alright...but it's the century eggs which i lurve...

6-ish - Chee Kee...the wanton mee at this place was awarded one michelin star...heee..wanton mee...one michelin star...only in HK...it was really quite good...and doesnt have one michelin star price to it as well....we also had the crab porridge and century egg porridge....heee..not bad..though the wanton mee was yummier...the soup version of course...dry one the sauce is just oyster sauce...

and of course to end of the day...we need to have dessert!!!...dont have pic for this..but the shop is found just opposite the Uni-Glo Building at Causeway Bay...the Steam Egg Custard...not bad le..but not my favourite....they had this pork chop bun..basically it's like fried pork chop in bread roll...ok also...not like to die for....wish I had tried the Xu Liu Shan everyone was talking about...maybe next trip ba..heee
